Donna Gonzales gave us her inside scoop for the trends she is seeing in 2022. Here’s an excerpt from our Coastal Trends piece.
What flooring, tile, cabinetry, hardware, or countertop trends do you expect us to see for coastal living next year?
“In 2021, we started to see medium brown tones mixed with gray come in strong in hardwoods and LVP and we believe that trend will continue with driftwood stains, smokey strongly-grained and bleached wood options. In bathrooms, we’ll likely see wood-looks or large-scale tile shower walls. We will also give more attention to high-function elements (electrical outlets inside drawers, creative use of space for towels, cosmetics, meds in vanity cabinetry).“

Serenity in Beach-Style Blues
This exclusive pairing features two “beach-style” blues.
Blueberry Tinted Varnish from Fieldstone Cabinetry, was chosen for the vanity with a crystal knob from Richelieu for the columns and a classic polished nickel pull from Berenson for the base.
And, Deep Blue from Marazzi in a hexagon mosaic was chosen for the shower floor.
Both of these “beach-style” blues offer serenity and calming vibes for a master bathroom.
A Touch of Glamour
The serenity of blues pair classically with clean whites and Donna made sure her handpicked selections of white also provided her pairing a touch of glamour. Donna chose Arctic White, a bright and elegant white quartz for the vanity top, CAVA Glossy Wall Gray, resembling Italian marble, for the shower wall, and hexagon-shaped CAVA Statuario Marble for the bathroom floors. This sophisticated pairing will transform any master bathroom into a deep blue, coastal oasis. The perfect retreat after a long day, at work or the beach.
